This project saw the conversion of an extremely rundown bungalow style home in West Geelong into a light, bright and modern family home. The new addition unapologetically modern with a soaring raked ceiling with highlight windows allowing a flood of north facing sunlight into the south facing new rear living wing of the home. The original cottage preserved and restored externally but gutted and upgraded internally to create three bedrooms and a small sitting room and to bring the original lean-to and outbuilding located ablutions indoors. The new master bedroom complete with a stunning light filled ensuite and custom joiner made dressing room. Our wonderful clients completed this challenging project as owner builders and complimented our design with impeccable taste and a deft hand evident in all their materials, fixtures, finishes and colour selections and overall execution of the project to an extremely high standard.
